The 2015 Super league champions Nyasa Big Bullets have now joined the race to sign a midfielder from Tigers once the transfer window is opened, Malawi24 has learnt.

According to rumours reaching this publication, Both Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Nyasa Big Bullets are interested in signing Yamikani Chester from Azam Tigers player before the start of the 2016 Tnm Super League second round.

Chester is in demand following impressive displays during the first round and last season for Azam Tigers in all competitions in Malawi’s top flight football.

But reports are suggesting that Yamikani Chester prefers a move to Nyasa Big Bullets’ rivals Be forward Wanderers.

However, Azam Tigers technical director Robin Alufandika said before the start of this season’s Malawi elite league that his team has no intentions of selling Chester any time soon.

Chester: A hot cake.

Why will Chester be a good signing for both Bullets and the Nomads??

Yamikani Chester will be a good signing for either Bullets or Nomads because he has the ability to play anywhere in an attacking position and although he is most naturally suited to operating as a winger, he can play on either side or as an inside forward which can prove to be a handful for defenders.

However, he has been known to make the odd selfish decision, such as failing to play in his team-mates who are in scoring positions and playing the ball back instead of making a forward pass or leaving defenders for dead, it is a trait that can be improved upon as he grows as a player in either Bullets or Wanderers squad.

It is with no doubt that Chester will not go straight into the starting eleven for Wanderers or Bullets if he choose to join one of them because they have also good players who plays in his position and he will have competition for a place in the starting eleven.

But he does fit the profile of a Mighty Be Forward Wanderers or Nyasa Big Bullets player and it seems likely he will move to one of the two teams soon.
