The 23 year old Central Attacking Midfielder was last seen at Mighty Be Forward Wanderers a month ago but Team Manager Steve Madeira says Jaffalie Chande is on vacation.

His transfer from former club Big Bullets to Wanderers caused stir but he is yet to show his new club what prompted them to bring him on board.

However, his absence from Nomads camp for the past weeks has left many Wanderers fans with questions than answers, forcing Madeira to defend the controversial player.

Chande asked for free time.

“Chande asked for a leave some weeks ago and was supposed to return to Blantyre on Monday but he called us again to try to extend his leave for some few days.”

“He is still sorting out some issues and once he is done, he will definately resume training this week. He is our player and there is nothing wrong in asking for a leave,” he said.

However, contrary to what Madeira has told the local media, it has been reported that the unsettled midfielder is trying to sneak out of the country in search for a greener pasture somewhere else.

His sparkling form with Bullets in their two-year back to back title success convinced the Nomads to sign him but that might be the opposite if the player decides to leave.

Currently, Wanderers are preparing for Saturday’s showdown with Red Lions in the Super League at Kamuzu Stadium but Chande is likely to be unavailable for the clash.
