Tay Grin not in Martse’s list at all.

The Mwano hit-maker has been rocked in another spark of controversy having recently crowned the duo of Gwamba and Krayzie G as best rappers in Malawi, against the collectively held belief that Tay Grin is the king of local hip hop.

Martse created a debate on social media yesterday having posted that the said rappers are above the rest in local hip hop.

Martse his list has earned him trouble.

While others supported his position, others labelled it ridiculous that only a drunkard like Martse can have such a lame opinion.

The debate seems to favour the opposers who have unanimously rained all sorts of sin language against the Natural Resources College student.

However Martse does not seem to be moved with what others think about what he thinks, after all Duncan Gwamba Gzambo, and Phineous Krayzie G Moyo are his good friends.

This comes amidst claims that local urban artists deliberately make controversial posts on social networks so as to attract media attention.

It is believed that most artists have the truth in mind but opt for the opposite on social media networks.

    The Gwamba guys , on the other hand, have original songs. What they do lack is raising the bar for themselves. They haven’t marketed themselves that much beyond our boundaries.
