Malawi leader Peter Mutharika yesterday hit back at leader of opposition Lazarus Chakwera accusing him of having an empty head.
Speaking at the opening of the new Reserve Bank of Malawi branch in Mzuzu, Mutharika clearly indicated that he was unhappy with Chakwera’s remarks at Parliament that the State of the Nation address he made in Parliament was empty.
“Sometimes when your head is empty, you see everything as empty,” said Mutharika.
In his address, Mutharika also ignored the leader of opposition by not mentioning him in the salutation.
Chakwera said that President Mutharika’s SONA was empty and a bedtime story.
