The Presidential Cup semifinal between Blue Eagles and Nyasa Big Bullets on Wednesday at Nankhaka ground has grossed money up to MK8.1 Million from gate collections, Malawi24 has learnt.
The Peoples team beat the Eagles 5-4 on post matches penalties after the two sides settled for a goalless draw after 90 minutes.
According to authorities the two teams shared MK1.6 Million with the the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) getting MK1.1 Million and the other stakes for other expenses like security.
Bullets now have completed the quarterfinal list and they play Kabwafu on dates yet to be named.
