Jamaican reggae artist, Gramps Morgan of the Morgan Heritage has followed in the footsteps of other internationally recognized artist as he makes fun of Malawi on social media.

Gramps Morgan
Gramps, pokes fun of Malawi.

The ‘Am coming home’ hit maker has made an ironic post on his Facebook page, which implicitly mocks the warm heart of Africa.

“It’s just a moment people trust me there is no other feeling like being home in Africa, am ready to see Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi am coming home very soon, I love you Kenya,” reads the post.

It is an undeniable fact that the artist considers himself to more of an African than someone who only happens to have African roots. This is evidenced in a good number of songs in which he cites Africa as a home and ready to return.

He is the second Jamaican artist to tease the warm heart of Africa within a period of two weeks; Busy Signal has also been reported to have been uttering what may not be music to the Malawian ear, in reaction to his alleged presence at Sand music festival which is imminent at Livingstonia Beach in Salima.

In this post, Gramps expresses the deep feelings he has for the East African nation of Kenya but mentions other African nations, Malawi inclusive just to put a brief smile on its face.

This comes in when it is crystal clear that the smart dreadlocked artist is not coming to Malawi since it is not on his planned tour of the land of his ancestors.
