Nomads on invasion! Wants to buy all Bullets players

The rivalry between Mighty Wanderers and Big Bullets has now gone off the pitch with the Nomads warning the Peoples team to stop poaching their players saying the Be Forward sponsored team is capable of buying the whole Bullets team in the on-going transfer market.

Mighty Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao says Bullets need to quit poaching the Nomads players.

The newly elected general secretary was reacting to the recent development on the market where forward Muhammad Sulumba was unveiled by Bullets last week after signing a pre-contract with them.

Butao said his team enjoys a very good sponsorship from Be Forward which is paid in dollars and can purchase the whole of Bullets team.

“Let me warn them to stop poaching our players. We have got money capable of buying the whole Bullets squad if they are not careful with us. We have money and they should respect us. Our players are not for sale,” said Butao.

He further added that Sulumba is a Nomad.

“Sulumba is a Nomad. I was surprised to see them unveiling our player yet we had a very positive discussions with Blantyre United.”

“Let me assure all Wanderers fans that the player will play for us, he is ours and Bullets should forget about signing him,” he said.

For the past seasons, Bullets have had the tendency of signing players from their rivals, the latest being Henry Kabichi who was a force to reckon with at Nomads.

The transfer saga of Sulumba is yet to be settled down, with rumors circulating within that the player has been offered a very good package by Wanderers’s trustee Rashid Gaffar as well as a vehicle in order to turn down Bullets offer.

However, it it still not known whether the former Blantyre United forward will extend his stay at Wanderers or not.

Bullets officials were not available for a comment on the latest outburst from the Nomads.
