Malawi super league heavy weight Big Bullets players have got all the reasons to thank heavens following revelations that they will start receiving a salary of K100,000 per month starting from next season.

Bullets clinched a K0.5 billion sponsorship deal with Nyasa Manufacturing Company last month, ending the financial hardships they have endured for the past 11 years.

Bullets players can now afford a smile.

According to information at hand, the Sam Chilunga led executive committee has decided to improve the welfare of the players by increasing their monthly salaries as well as game bonuses.

Bullets senior players currently receive K30,000 per month while others get less than K10,000 a month. Chilunga has also promised to put all Bullets players on MASM starting from next season.

The team signed a five year sponsorship deal with the cigarette manufacturing company which saw them become the richest club in the country.

Bullets have managed to defend their league title with four games to spare.
