Malawian artist Big Joe is strengthening his presence on the music scene with the release of Tabwela, his second song of the year, featuring Lympie C.

The song, whose music video was released on Saturday, encourages couples to express their feelings and keep their relationships strong despite the demands of work and other daily responsibilities.

Speaking to Malawi24, Big Joe said the song was inspired by couples who are often caught up in busy schedules, leaving them with limited time to focus on their relationships.

He said Tabwela seeks to remind partners that, even when work and other commitments keep them apart, they should continue expressing their love and supporting each other.

Big Joe worked on the verses, while Lympie C handled the chorus, which carries the song’s central message of affection and emotional openness.

The chorus features the lyrics, “If you tell me you love me, I’ll give you all of me, baby,” followed by “Tabwela uzandiuze mmene unvela,” encouraging a loved one to come closer and openly express their feelings.

The collaboration blends the two artists’ contributions into a message that speaks to couples navigating the challenges of balancing work and relationships.

Meanwhile, Big Joe has assured fans that more music is on the way, signaling his intention to continue releasing new projects.

“My fans should expect more music,” he said.
