“We reached out to Ministry of Education and they commended Mvama Primary Schools as one of the beneficiaries. We are pleased to donate these desks together with some reusable sanitary kits for the girl child students here at Mvama, we are asking the students to take good care of these desks so that others should benefit from the same,” he explained.

He then commended the Ministry of Education for supporting their plans saying without the ministry they would not have been able to achieve their goal.

According to Kavuta, they are planning to support 15 schools in different parts of the country and the donation is worth K30 Million.

The Head teacher of the School, Cecilia Makuti thanked Airtel for the timely donation and pledged to ensure that the students take good care of the desks.

However, Makuti expressed concern over lack of borehole and water taps as well as shortage of school blocks at the institution and asked for support from other well-wishers.
