Silver Strikers held: Remain top of the table
A match that took place at the Silver Stadium in Lilongwe between Silver Strikers and Civo Service United saw the bankers failing to increase their lead at the top of the table.
On Sunday, Civo Service United travelled their short distant from Area 9 to Area 47, in search for the golden mineral of three points.
Blessings Kameza,Chisomo Mpachika, Mike Robert, Thoko Stambuli, Alufeyasi Nyoni, Levison Maganizo, Timothy Chitedze, Victor Limbani, Mathews Sibbale were sampled to start the ball rolling in search for the precious points for Silver Strikers.
The Lilongwe derby saw both teams piling pressure on each other as Civo are struggling in the Super League while Silver are leading the table.
But the two teams failed to find the net after 90 minutes of play and the game ended 0-0.
The result means the central bankers are still topping the table with 42 points, after Bullets also failed to pull them down following their goalless draw against Azam Tigers at Kamuzu stadium.
