Livingstonia University – Ekwendeni Campus is up in flames.
According to reports that Malawi24 has gathered indicate that the inferno has affected the store, IT laboratory, class and deans office.
The University students are currently trying all possible ways to extinguish the fire.
Among notable things that have been burnt by the fire so far include computers.
Police are at the University campus.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established. Reports are indicating that the fire began around 10 am.
This is coming barely within a week after fire gutted Lilongwe main market locally known as Kumpanipani.
Fire extinguishers came late and angry students stoned them away from the University campus.
