Moyale Barracks F.C goalkeeper Juma Chikwenga’s future at the club is uncertain as he has been left out of the team’s match day squad for several games.

Chikwenga made an error that led to a goal during Moyale’s Carlsberg cup encounter with Mafco in August and since then the 26 year-old has not featured in any game.

Speaking on his situation at the club, Chikwenga said his relationship with the club’s officials is the main problem.

“I don’t know what is happening to me and what have I done wrong, top officials hate me for nothing,” said Chikwenga.

But Moyale officials said they are well stocked in the goalkeeping department and cannot use all goalkeepers at once. Chikwenga is well known for saving his team Moyale when it comes to penalties.

During Ernest Mtawali’s term as Flames coach, the goalkeeper was twice included in the national team squad.

He became Moyale’s first choice goalkeeper after a string of bad performances from McDonald Harawa.

At the moment, the soldiers are using a young talented goalkeeper Simeon Harawa who is a younger brother to McDonald Harawa.
