According to UMP Publicist Kimpho Loka, the progress looks very promising and shows how engaged people are to the awards this year.
‘’We expect a lot of excitement, public engagement and intense campaigning – this is already happening. This is good for the continued maturity of Malawi’s urban music industry,” he said when giving an update on the voting process earlier this morning.
The voting which will conclude Thursday 3 November 2016 will see artists, producers and videographers fighting for miscellaneous awards.
To vote, members of the general public can send SMS texts to designated numbers on Airtel and TNM mobile networks (0994299099 and 0880549556): 1 SMS / 1 Category Vote.
