Urban music heavyweights will invade Blantyre this weekend.
Organizers of the Carlsberg Urban Music Legacy concert have named acts to perform at the concern this Sunday, 21 August at College of Medicine in Blantyre.
The show will start from 1 P.m with the performances starting an hour later up until 7:30 P.M.
Hip hop artists Barry One, Piksy, Martse, Bucci and the Home Grown African are part of the long standing list of artists to hit the stage.
The others include Sangie, Blakjak, Blaze, Martse, Malinga Mafia, Nesnes, , Saint, Hilco, DNA, King Chambiecco, Hazel Mak.
”Carlsberg is creating a platform where fans (urban youth) will be able to interact interact and enjoy the music that’s making buzz on the airwaves as they enjoy the different Carlsberg brands.” an update from the organizers reads.
Carlsberg says the concert is also meant to promote local music so that art sales to the outside world.
