A 10 year-old boy has been found dead with his arms and head hacked off in Machinga district, Malawi24 can report.
Police in the district confirmed to Malawi24 on Tuesday and identified the deceased as Solomon Kalumpha.
Machinga police publicist Davie Sulumba said Solomon went missing on 17 April 2016 around 11′ O’clock in the morning.
It is reported that on the night of 25 April, villagers were disturbed by a bad smell that was coming from a nearby river.
Some of the villagers went to find out the source of the smell; that is when they found the mutilated body of the boy with his head, feet, and arms hacked off.
Medical workers believes that the boy was killed on the same day he went missing.
The police have since launched an investigation into the shocking death. The deceased hailed from Malenga village in the area of traditional authority Chamba in Machinga district.
I wonder killing becomes one of the news of a day sure choping a person as if you cuting meat or vegetable,why do you want to become rich for someones parts instead your parts.May the blood of `10 yrs`be you who did it,
