Malawi Super League champions Big Bullets have postponed the club’s Chairman’s Gala which was scheduled to take place on December 30 this year.
According to Big Bullets deputy general secretary, Kelvin Moyo, the gala has been put on hold to pave way for Tnm to present its awards to individuals and teams that have done well in the 2015 Tnm Super League season.
“We don’t want to clash with Super League awards presentation that’s why we will wait until the league sponsors have their presentation ceremony,” said Moyo.
However, TNM will conduct their awards ceremony mid-January next year according to the company’s marketing manager, Limbani Nsapato.
Meanwhile, Bullets say they will communicate to the public over the new date for the gala but it probably will be next year in January.
The chairman’s gala has been organised in order for the club to honour the players as part of motivating them.
