A circulating screenshot purportedly claiming the Donald Trump leadership has placed a Visa waiver programme is only but fake news.
The post by Donald J. Trump on Facebook stated that Malawi and other nations like South Africa and ‘8 others’ have been added to previous ten to the programme.
Checking on the official page of the US leader, the post is not available let alone has the US government officially made the announcement as it were.
The post claimed that the inclusion of the countries was based on their demonstration of great leadership, respect for democracy and national security.
It went further to shower praises on current Malawi President Peter Mutharika saying he is a most exemplary and focused on development.
Trump’s social media engagement continue being a spotlight of fake news because of his activeness on various platforms including Facebook. He remains one of the top most followed people on Twitter where his radical approach to issues sees his tweets shared by millions of users.
