Blessed Generation to launch album on Mother’s Day

Mothers’ Day brings memories of care by our mothers hence the celebrations but for gospel music lovers it will be a duo celebration this year with the double launch of “Ambuye Amaona” album by newly formed gospel music group, the Blessed Generation.

The launch is scheduled to take place at Robins Park in Blantyre on 15 October and the following day at Mlambe Motel in Balaka where gospel music lovers will witness a massive show characterized with rich spiritual messages.

The Blessed Generation leader Precious Loti said the move has been inspired by people who have been enjoying their songs in different platforms including in local radio stations.

“A lot of people have been enjoying our music performances in different places like boarding schools, Churches and radio stations, now we have compiled the full album that we want to give to Malawians, we believe they are going to like it because it carries soul touching songs that will transform many,” he said.

Loti added that the trio has come with a unique style and are certain that people will love them.

During the launch, the group is expected to share the stage with giants in the gospel music arena like Miracle Chinga, Thoko Suya, Favored Martha, Eliza Mponya and King James Phiri at Robins Park while in Balaka the Great Angels Choir, King James Phiri, Steve, Wazisomo Muliya, Thoko Katimba and Phalyce Malick Mang’anda are on the menu.

Loti thanked their fans for giving them morale in the process of building the strong foundation of their gospel music career.

“Some of them are the ones who encouraged us and proposed that we should have launch of both DVD and CD,” he added.

The group is made up of Bridget Loti, Precious Loti and Brenda Jere both from Kabula Zambezi Evangelical church in Blantyre.

Produced by Gaffar Sungani at audience Records in Blantyre, the ten track album has songs such as Ambuye Ndinu wa Chikondi, Yesu Wamoyo, Chitsime, Ambuye Amaona and others which are currently enjoying massive airplay in different local radio stations.
