The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) will on Wednesday hold its first congregation since Bunda college of Agriculture was merged with the Natural Resources College (NRC).
The first LUANAR congregation which has been scheduled on Wednesday of 16th November at the Bunda campus in Lilongwe which will see graduants from both composes graduating together.
The event will also see the Malawi president Peter Muntharika presiding the presentation of the awards.
From the information that Malawi24 has sourced, the event will give the academic rewards and other distinctions to be conferred to graduants from its four faculties.
Why is each university Chanco and Luanar providing such little notice to their students and families of the forthcoming graduation ceremonies
These are supposed to be schools of higher learning yet. It appears someone slaps their head 2 weeks before a graduation, well we better arrange a date.
Can a date not be decided 3 months, 6 months a year in advance and posted on their website or even made avilable to students leaving classes their final day after writing exams,
No they advise thousands 9 days before the event, forcing all to immediately change plans or work assignments
If the President has such an open calendar that he can accept an invitation to attend on such short notice he is not working hard enough for Malawi
Exactly like the government realising there is a food shortage when people are starving and fainting in line at admarc to find out there is no maize,
Malawi will do better if people planned better for the future is that not what education is all about.
Shame on these Universities for providing such little notice to what is the most important day for a student.
