Malawi has vehemently rejected calls to be left behind in the world of music as they have joined other countries in producing hip-hop music preaching the word of salvation in last days.
Joining the gospel hip-hop industry, is young talented artist Harry Thodi who is releasing a gospel hip-hop album.
The album is titled ‘Sono Vittolia’ which is Italian meaning am victory, is to be released this Friday on November 4.
Confirming the development in an interview with this reporter, Thodi who is based in the commercial city of Blantyre said everything is set for the release of the album.
He added that the music album has been worked on by over five different producers including BFB, Nasco, Kay Don, Kay U.
The album is having ten tracks which also includes Alipano which he featured Hagios, Beautiful Grace which he collaborated with Tramzy and the title track Sono Vittolia.
“The main massage in the album is the purpose. Everyone has to know the main purpose why God created him/her and the songs are there to remind people that God created them with a purpose,” said Thodi.
The self-sponsored artist said of other challenges he met in this journey are persistent power blackouts.
He then asked the general public to buy the album which will be found on Malawimusic.com on the local market and also on iTunes.
