Wanderers through to Fisd cup semis

Be Forward Wanderers have advanced to the semifinals of the Fisd Challenge Cup after thrashing Zolozolo United at Kamuzu stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Striker Peter Wadabwa scored five goals whereas Mike Kaziputa, Joseph Kamwendo and Jabulani Linje scored a goal each as the Nomads thrashed the Mzuzu lower side 8 nil to book their semifinal ticket.
Zolozolo United also missed two penalty kicks in the second half with former Mzuni striker Smith Kadawasi missing one before Zolozolo captain missed the other.
The Nomads controlled the better part of the proceedings with their hitman Wadabwa stealing the show at Kamuzu stadium. In Lilongwe, Harvey Nkacha scored the only goal of the match as Kamuzu Barracks sent Msanama packing in the Fisd Challenge Cup. Wanderers and Kamuzu Barracks have now joined Silver Strikers and Blue Eagles to complete the Fisd challenge cup semifinal lineup.
The Area 30 cops, Blue Eagles will host Be Forward Wanderers while Kamuzu Barracks have booked a date with Silver Strikers for the other semifinal match.
