He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Do you want to be a success always? Do you want to be evergreen as stated in the scripture above? Then quit trusting in your connections with man and put all your trust in the Lord. Your earthly connections are good. We need people to do things but connections with man cannot work all the time.
Your relationships may be limited in certain circumstances. However the Lord can never disappoint. Man can disappoint you some day, therefore trust in the Lord.1 Peter 2 : 6 ” For thus it stands in Scripture: Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen ( honored), precious chief Cornerstone, and he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall never be disappointed or put to shame.”
Proverbs 3 : 5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding.” Your own abilities and understanding are also limited. Lean on the Lord you will never be disappointed.
When you want to do anything, dont base on how many people are supporting your cause. Look unto what is God’s will towards that cause. If He is on you aide, do it. If you depend on multitudes they can abandon you. For example in the midst of trouble, the dear disciples of Jesus abandoned Him. The time they were supposed to help Him, they run away. However the Father was with Him. Therefore don’t boast in your connection to men.1 Corinthians 3 : 21 ” So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours.”
If the Lord is on your side it doesn’t matter how many are against you. You will still be a success in your cause. Rom 8:31 “If God is for us, who is against us?”
