Born Martin Nkhata but is well known by his stage name, Martse; he has mocked upcoming  rappers labeling them as failures who are crawling to fame but failing.

Martse said this during an interview on a show that is done every Monday on one of the local radio stations.

The rapper said his scandal pictures and voice note that were circulating around social media are more famous than the rappers.

Martse goes flat out on upcoming artists.

“It’s a pity that rappers are very desperate for fame but they are crawling for years. To their pain, my scandal pictures and a voice note blew within minutes,” mocked Martse.

The pictures that were going from phone to phone on the social media were about him after he was wrestled down into the gutter when he tried to act smart at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Bunda Campus. He later tried to explain his actions and the voice clip also went viral.

At one of the shows, Martse seemed very drunk that he could not even respond sensibly to the questions asked. As if that is not enough the presenter even asked if he was on his show while drunk which Martse denied but it was clear the Mwano star was not sober.

This is not the first time Martse has spat on fellow rappers as last time he made a post on his Facebook account that Gwamba and Crazy G are the best rappers in Malawi despite the fact that almost every rapper claims to be the best.
