All is ready for the much awaited the Have And Enjoy Zoe (HAEZ) talent expose show slated for July 1st in Blantyre at The Polytechnic Open theatre.
Memories are still fresh of the first ever HAEZ show that left the throng wondering why such a red carpet event was free of charge.
Speaking to Malawi24, HAEZ organising committee co-chair Jonathan Zuze said this is a platform that the Redeemed for a Purpose (RFP) ministry has created in order to display the wisdom of God through various talents as well as to discover, nurture, and expose different talents. Zuze said the event will be free of charge.
“It’s absolutely free and this time around we are doing it at Polytechnic Open Theatre. This is an evening event and it is open to all Blantyre dwellers and those from surrounding areas.
“Young people got immense talent and it is God given, it is a talent that God gave them to the glory of His name,” he said.
Zuze’s co-chair Beatrice Mfune said all preparations are done and that the audience should anticipate a show like no other.
Mfune said: “Take last year’s event as a rehearsal, this time around we are working around the clock to give Blantyre the best event they so deserve. Actually this is a Mini HAEZ, the main one will be done later on this year, probably during the third or fourth quarter of this year.”
HAEZ is an acronym derived from John 10:10 in which Jesus said “I have come so that they may have and enjoy life” (Amplified Bible). The word life in Greek is called Zoe which means the God-kind-of-Life.
Activities this time around include a fashion show, rap battle, and dance competition.
Zoe is a Redeemed for a Purpose ministries brainchild. The ministry is headed by Pastor Aubrey Mwasinga, a renowned author of the bestseller Combining Spiritual and Academic Excellence.
