Guinea jet in Malawi as Flames remain upbeat for a win

The Guinea national has now arrived in Malawi today for their group L African Cup of Nations qualifier match against Malawi in Blantyre at Kamuzu Stadium on Tuesday the 29th March 2016.

Guinea national team will be without former AC Milan man Kelvin Constant who is down with flu.

Constant also missed last week’s game against the Flames after the Guinea national team ruled him out of the two legged crucial 2017 Afcon qualifier matches. Players that have travelled with the Guinea football national team to play the Flames include Naby Yattara, Florentin Pogba, Fodé Camara, Sekou Condé, Issiaga Sylla, Alsény Camara, Ibrahima Sory Sankhon, Naby Keita, Ibrahima Conté, Ibrahima Traoré,and Idrissa Sylla.

Last week when the two sides met, the game ended in a goalless draw and the Malawi national football team managed to earn a valuable point following this draw in in Conakry, Guinea at 28 September Stadium.

Guinea tried all they could to win in last week’s match against Malawi but the Syli failed to find the back of the net with a very strong defensive display from the travelling Malawi Flames.

Guinea lost their opening match in the qualifiers against Swaziland in Morocco, and also drew against Zimbabwe. In their first two matches, Malawi drew against Swaziland and lost 2-1 to Zimbabwe.
