Teen arrested for stabbing his brother

A 15 year-old boy in Ntchisi has been arrested for stabbing his 27 year-old brother.

Police have identified the suspect as Innocent Chigoma and the victim as Malamulo Chigoma.

The law enforcers say the incident happened on March 21 at Kamwendo Village in the district.

knife-bloodAccording to police, the victim and the suspect were drinking beer at a bar which is close to their home at a place popularly known as Masekera.

While drinking the alcohol, the two got into a fight and the younger of the two stabbed his older brother on the left chest and the victim sustained a deep wound.

The victim is currently admitted to Kasungu District Hospital.

The suspect will appear in court soon to answer charges of unlawful wounding.

Both the suspect and the victim come from Kamwendo Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chilooko in Ntchisi.
