The striker was not training with Bullets recently and he was not in the squad that hammered Red Lions 4-1 over the weekend, prompting speculations that he may seek his way out of the club.

Chande’s contract at the people’s team came to an end after the 2015 TNM Super League in which he scored 12 goals, and Bullets’ attempt to tie him to the club by offering him a new contract has proven unsuccessful.

According to reports, the club – which has been affected by internal wrangles recently – was unwilling to meet the player’s demand for a 4 million kwacha signing on fee.

Chande moved to Bullets in 2014 from EPAC in a deal worth around 2.5 million kwacha and he made over 45 appearances during his two-year stay at Big Bullets where  won two TNM Super League titles and a Carlsberg Cup.
