Yamikani Chester wants to leave Tigers

Azam Tigers midfielder Yamikani Chester has said he will join any team that will meet his club’s demands.

The Azam Tigers player is heavily linked with a move to Blantyre giants Be Forward Wanderers but the player says he has not been approached by any team.

“I have not been approached by any team, but if any team comes forward and they will discuss with Azam Tigers and agree a deal to sell me, then I will be joining that team,” said Chester.

The player added that he is still an Azam Tigers player and he is just hearing news about his transfer through the media. He said Tigers have not communicated to him that they are discussing with any team.

Chester further said that he is happy at Azam Tigers and he will play for the club in the coming season which will start on 9th April but he was also quick to say that if Tigers decides to sell him he will be okay with it.

“I am still an Azam Tigers player and I am happy here but if my team decides to sell me I will join any team that I will be sold to in this transfer,” he said.
Carlsberg Cup champions Wanderers have been chasing for Chester’s signature since the beginning of this year.
