Malawi Super League sponsors has applauded Big Bullets for clinching the 2015 race following a 2-1 victory over Azam Tigers on Wednesday at Kamuzu Stadium.

A brace by Jafali Chande earned the Blantyre based giants their 13th league title with four games to spare in the campaign.

The sponsors TNM through head of marketing Limbani Nsapato said Bullets deserved the title for performing superbly throughout the season.

“We would like to congratulate Big Bullets for a sterling performance this season,” said Nsapato to the media.

“They have earned this achievement after performing superbly, losing once and have been at the top of the standings since third week of the league,” he concluded.

Bullets have 57 points, 17 ahead of the second placed Mafco FC from 24 games and victories in their remaining games will see them finishing the season with 69 points, surpassing last season’s record of finish the season with 62 points.

Bullets became the first team to win the league with four games to play in years and with such a gap between them and the runners up.
