Super League of Malawi (Sulom) in conjunction with TNM Limited will today honour best performers in the just ended 2018 season.
The glitzy gala event will be staged at the Crossroads Hotel in the commercial city of Blantyre on Saturday evening from 7pm.
The league sponsors will award the player of the season, goalkeeper of the season, defender of the season, midfielder of the season, most improved player, top goal scorer, best technical panel, fair play team, most improved team and the most disciplined supporters.
Chiukepo Msowoya, who is the winner of the 2018 golden boot, is the favorite to win the player of the season award, with his team-mate John Lanjesi likely to win the best defender of the season award.
Be Forward Wanderers’ midfielder Yamikani Chester is favorite to win the midfielder of the season, with Nenani Juwaya and Rabson Chiyenda set to compete for the goalkeeper of the season award.
The gala night will also see TNM and Sulom awarding Bullets for winning the championship.
The Bob Mpinganjira led Wanderers technical panel is favorite to win the best technical panel of the just ended season.
Bullets won the league with 71 points after only testing a single defeat in the entire season.
