“We are shocked with untimely death of Mr Geoff Gondwe. He was our pillar, our adviser and a man we used to ask how we can run football in Malawi. We learnt more from him because of his humbleness,” he said.

General Secretary of Musicians Union of Malawi Thomas Lupesya said they have lost a man who was their mentor.
“We have lost a man who was always there when we needed him, he was a man who worked very hard to establish the association to be recognized in Malawi,” said Lupesya
