African music stars, DJ Waxxy from Nigeria and Vanessa Mdee from Tanzania, are coming to Malawi where they are expected to entertain the nation until 2017.
Their visit later this month will be courtesy of Tay Grin’s Black Rhyno Entertainment.
The record label has lined up the duo to sweeten the All Black Party at Latitude 13 in Lilongwe on 31st December.
This will mark a colourful crossover to 2017 with some of the continent’s gifted artists.
As such they will leave the warm heart of Africa the following year having dished body warming vibes to entertainment loving Malawians.
Tay Grin is taking the city burning party to the capital having given Blantyre an exciting show at Blue Elephant last month.
According to the Nyau King, this will be the best ever party to be hosted on home soil. DJ Waxxy, also popular in production circles has a longstanding relationship with the 2 by 2 hit maker.
The Channel O deck wizard has been to Malawi before on a couple of occasions.
However it will be the first for Tanzania’s first lady in as far as music is concerned to perform in Malawi. She is popular for her collaboration with South African hip hop maestro KO entitled Nobody but Me.
The high flying teamwork in this song made Vanessa known to other countries in Africa. Apart from Tay Grin, Vanessa Mdee, DJ Waxxy, and DJ Chris, Malawi’s wonder kid, Sonye, will also give the masses company with great stage act as crossover to 2017 will be happening.
He has in this year worked with Grin on two songs, Kanda and Sugar Mammie, which have become hits of their own class.
Video for Kanda is currently doing well on the continent and it was recently top on Trace TV’s African Chart.
Sugarmamie is also selling in the neighbouring Zambia since it features an artist from that country, Roberto.
