Plans to collect all maximum point from their trip to the north ended in vain as Nyasa Big Bullets were held to a goalless draw by Mzuni fc.

It was a game to watch as both teams displayed standard football. Lughindiko Mshani, Bob Longwe, and Hardson Milanzi were playing well for Mzuni while left winger Yamikani Fodya, Fisher Kondowe, McFallen Ngwira were the players to watch for Bullets.

The game ended with both teams without a goal thanks to fantastic goalkeeping from Bullets’ Chimwemwe Kunkwawa and Mzuni’s Labson Chiyenda.

After the game, team manager for Bullets Rahim Ismael expressed disappointment with the way his team played,

“Am disappointed with the way we played just imagine two games without a win or a goal this is very bad since we are the defending champions but all in all returning with 2 points is better than none,” said Ishmael.

On his part, Mzuni coach Ngwira blamed the result on the way fixtures have been arranged by the Super League of Malawi.

“How come giving us big teams back to back, last week we played Moyale this week Bullets but at least we managed to collect a point than losing all 3 points” said Ngwira.

The result has pushed Mzuni to position 6, while Bullets remain on position 2.
