Lilongwe based up and coming gospel artist Frank Mbando has said all is set for the long awaited double CD and DVD launch of his debut album titled “M’busa Wanga” which is scheduled for Sunday 5 June at Sheaffer ICA Marque in Lilongwe.
Speaking in an interview, Frank Mbando said he is ready and steady for the show and has promised fireworks saying he will perform to the best of his ability.
“I am more than ready for the show. Malawians should expect the best from me and let me assure you that they will not regret,” he said.
During the show, Mbando will share the stage with Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers, Gwede Boys, Ndirande Anglican Voices, Mlaka Maliro, Thoko Katimba, Ruth Missi Thindwa and Benadetta Mlaka Maliro.
The artist said the show is slated to start at 12 O’clock in the afternoon and that everyone will be required to pay K1000 as an entry fee.
Recorded by Mack Cathy Andy Mjojo at IRYB Studios in Lilongwe, the album has songs like Alipompano, Kuzelezeka and Thamanga which are enjoying airplays in different local radio stations.
