Despite being without four of their key players, Peter Wadabwa, Francis Mlimbika, Stanley Sanudi and Rafique Namwera who are with the Flames, the Nomads proved too good for the soldiers from the word go.

Ted Sumani who was later sent off and Mike Kaziputa were a marvel to watch in the flanks only that Bello Amos and Luke Bruno Milanzi who were playing upfront were too shy to convert the crosses into goals.

But it was the soldiers who first opened the scoreline at Kamuzu stadium before the Nomads equalised through Mike Kaziputa and the two teams went to the break tied at 1 all.

After the break, Eddington Ng’onamo’s tactics that clearly turning the vibe on the Salima based soldiers and the Nomads scored their second goal of the match through Jimmy Zakazaka before he was sent off and the game ended 2-1 in favour of the Nomads.

In another friendly match played yesterday, Peter Mponda’s Wizards beat Nyasa Big Bullets 2-1 at Kamuzu stadium on Thursday afternoon in Blantyre.
