Nomads Technical Panel given five game ultimatum

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers main executive committee and supporters committee has given Eddington Ng’onamo and his entire back room staff a five game ultimatum if they are to remain in-charge of the club, Malawi24 has learnt.

This follows a stakeholders meeting last week where Technical Director for the club Jack Chamangwana was told not to sit at the bench during matches.

Wanderers’ vice Chairman Gift Mkandawire confirmed the development to the local media saying failure to comply with what was agreed, imminent changes will be made.

The Nomads given ultimatum.

“We had a very successful stakeholders meeting where we agreed to give the technical panel a five game ultimatum. If we see no results, imminent changes will be made within the technical panel. The players have promised to start winning games and we are very sure that things will return to normal at Mighty Wanderers,” said Mkandawire.

The Nomads have endured a bad start to the season by collecting 8 points from Seven games.

They only managed to collect maximum points in their first game against Silver Strikers and went on to draw against Dwangwa United, Civo Service United, Karonga United and Moyale Barracks before losing to Mafco FC 3-2 at home a fortnight ago.

They are currently occupying 10th position and if they are to end their 11 year Super League drought, they must kick-start their season.

The Lali Lubani boys brought in Jafali Chande, Nenani Juwaya, Rafique Namwera, Enerst Tambe, Amos Bello, Foster Namwera, Peter Wadabwa and Genk Nakamura during the local transfer window.
