At the other end, Karonga United strikers did all they could to upset the visitors but Peter Munthali in goals for the Nomads was too smart to concede a goal and the first half ended in a goalless draw.

After the break both teams came in as changed sides as they wanted to break the deadlock.

A few minutes after the break the Nomads coach introduced Amos Bello and Jafali Chande into the game as he was looking for an opening goal of the match.

The Nomads kept on growing into the game with Chande and Wadabwa both going close but Chimwemwe Kasambara in goals for Karonga United kept on frustrating the Nomads attackers on several occasions.

As the game was going towards the end Jafali Chande could have won it for the Nomads but he was denied by the wood work, and both teams kept on demonstrating good attacking football as they all went close to find the winning goal but neither side could find a winner in scrappy final exchanges.

After the game Karonga United coach Kondwani Mwaluweni said he was happy with a point gained from the Nomads game whereas Wanderers team manager was unhappy with the result and blamed the referees for the team’s draw.
