Charcoal burners go furious to kill forestry officer.

“The officer was conducting patrols together with his friend along Lungu Masamba road where they met this angry charcoal burner who had bags of charcoal on his bicycle and when the officers tried to work as per their work the man jumped on one officer and started beating him,” Chileka police spokesperson Grace Mwale told Malawi24.

The officer was later taken to Mlambe hospital where he was referred to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) for further medical treatment but his condition was getting worse and he died a few hours later.

  10. Lets be serious about planting trees. Lets invest as individuals, otherwise, the growing and increasingly poor population should be cause for concern. Inu mumapanga ma motivation talks, don’t just talk about money and sell your books and dvds that depict utopia. Be real about Malawi’s problems and take physical action.
