Richard Chipuwa furious over death hoax

Ex-Mighty Be Forward Wanderers goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa has expressed anger over social media reports that he has died in a car accident in Mozambique.

A few days ago, social media was awash with reports that the Malawi national team shot stopper had died after being hit by a speeding vehicle.

The reports about Chipuwa’s death were also widely discussed on Whatsapp sports forums.

But Chipuwa who plays for Chingale F.C in Mozambique told a Nomads Facebook fan page that he has been let down by the news.

It is not known as to who was behind the death hoax.

Another false story that recently stormed social media was about Nyasa Big Bullets executive committee’s general secretary Titha Mandiza who was said to have died in an accident in Blantyre.
