Midfielder Jaffalie Chande will have to spend his time on the sidelines until the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) determines the future of the saga involving disputed contracts at Nyasa Big Bullets which saw him switch to rivals Might Be Forward Wanderers.

A press statement signed by the FA’s General Secreatry, Sugzo Nyirenda states that the football body together with the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) have concluded the round table meetings regarding Chande’s disputed contract with Nyasa Big Bullets F.C.

”The two meetings (held on 5th and 12th April 2016) were aimed at finding a solution to the standoff between the two parties. However, FAM has managed to gather enough information and documents that will be passed on to the Disciplinary Committee to determine the future of this matter.”

”In the meantime, the player will wait for the determination before returning to the field of play. It is expected that the FAM’s Disciplinary Committee will meet in due course to determine the issue at hand.” part of the statement reads.
