Viola: Every person has problems

Different organization in the country and other individuals blamed the president for the speech saying as leader he was expected to speak things that would give hope to all Malawian.

However, presidential spokesperson Gerald Viola said the speech does not mean the president has no problems since every person on the earth has got problems.

Viola said the speech was aimed to show that the president also spends time listening to music.

“The speech does not mean he has got no problem as per people’s thinking.

“The state president said this only to show that he also has time listening to music and as well he wanted us to know that he knows what is being liked most,” said Viola.

The spokesperson added that this is not new only that people may have forgotten.

He said the late Bingu Mutharika quoted ‘Kamandidutsadutsa’ a Malawian song done by Mlaka Maliro and it is for that reason why he is saying he sees no problems with the speech.
