Police in Ntchisi district have arrested a 32-year-old man for defiling his 15-year-old daughter.
The incident happened on March 11 2016 at Kampanyanga Village in Ntchisi.
Police have identified the suspect as Thomas Kampanyanga of Kampanyanga Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chilooko in Ntchisi.
Police investigations revealed that the suspect who is a young father to the girl defiled the girl in a maize garden.
It is alleged that the victim on particular day accompanied by his young brother Fatsani Thomas Kampanyanga aged 12 who is a son to the suspect went to a maize garden to pick some late maturing mangoes in a tree and were found and scared by the suspect.
The young brother who was down the tree had to run away while the victim was dropping down.
The suspect grabbed the victim and dragged her aside where she was forced down and defiled her. The suspect defiled the victim as he touched the victim’ mouth inorder not to shout.
Medical examinations at Malomo Health Centre shows positive.
