Malawi national football team head coach, Ernest Mtawali, has announced his 30 man squad for the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea next month.

Mtawali and his technical team have selected a team comprising of local and foreign based players for the two games. Former Flames captain Joseph Kamwendo is back into the squad for the first time after missing seven games.

The Flames mentor who opted for local based players in his first seven games in-charge, made a surprising u-turn when he announced that he will consider including more foreign based players than the locals who are on off-season at the moment.
