A rapist in Malawi has been sentenced to 18 years in jail for forcing himself on his step-daughter and infecting her with the deadly HIV virus.
Lilongwe Police Station Spokesperson, Inspector Kingsley Dandaula, said the beast, Alfred Disi, raped his seven year-old daughter in the wee hours of 21st November, 2015 and police arrested him on 26th November on the charge of defilement.
Dandaula said the girl was sleeping alone in the living room when the evil stepfather grabbed her and raped her while her mother was outside doing some household chores.
“At around 4a.m. the mother went outside to sweep around the house and that’s when the suspect went into the sitting room and defiled the girl and told her not to tell anyone,” he said.
Dandaula said the mother got suspicious of her daughter and after she asked the child, she revealed that her stepfather had raped her.
The mother reported the matter to Thawale Police Unit and officers took the girl to Dixon Health Centre where it was confirmed that she had been defiled and that she is HIV positive.
The evil stepfather is said to have initially denied defiling the girl when he first appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Antony Kapaswiche of Lilongwe Magistrate Court to answer the charge of defilement but after the state paraded five witnesses in court, the suspect was found guilty.
Dandaula said in mitigation the wicked man had asked the court to be lenient with him when passing sentence saying he looked after his family and children but state prosecutors hit back arguing he deserved stiffer sentence considering that the girl was infected with HIV.
The monster hails from Chitsulo village in the area of Traditional Authority Masula in Lilongwe.

Whoever handed over the sentence seems to have had a problem to reason. HIV/Aids is a life sentence out of prison & so should have the rapist should have been sent to prison for the rest of his life.

Surely for the girl to be diagonised HIV positive it can not happen today morning and afternoon or tomorrow she is found positive. But the sentence could have been more than that possibly 30 yrs+ considering that the future of the girl is severely doomed.
