Fired People’s Party (PP) Northern Provincial Chairperson Mzomera Ngwira has blamed Uladi Mussa for charming Joyce Banda into electing him as the party’s president.
The remarks follow the party’s decision to fire Ngwira as a member of PP saying he was misleading the party.
However, Ngwira has maintained that he is still a member of PP arguing that Mussa has no powers to fire any member in the party.
Ngwira revealed that he has been sending emails to Joyce Banda on how to handle the party’s leadership crisis but she never took heed of his advice
“I have been sending emails to her, but there are some people whom I believe charmed her, she never listened to me. Mind you Mussa has never won a post at any convention in this country and he can’t lead the party or else he will make it sink,” said Ngwira when speaking to ZBs’ Tiuzeni Zoona on Sunday.
He further downplayed reports that he is receiving money from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to weaken the party by demanding that former Vice President Khumbo Kachali should be appointed as the party’s president.
