Banda: Rules must be followed.

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has warned top flight clubs that failure to fulfill club licensing will restrain them from registering new players in the on-going summer local transfer market.

Sulom’s general secretary Williams Banda confirmed the development saying clubs have to fulfill club licensing before bringing on board new players.

“As Sulom, we will not allow clubs to register new players if they fail to fulfill the club licensing. “Teams must pay K150 000 for registration and K100 000 for the license,” said Banda.

So far, Mighty Wanderers and Silver Strikers are the only two teams to have acquired new players from the relegated side Wizards FC.

Apart from Sulom, the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has also warned clubs that failure to fulfil the said licensing will delay the 2016 soccer season.
