According to information sourced by Malawi24 through various sports websites in South Africa, Wits have been monitoring the 27 year old forward, with a view to bring him on board in the on-going Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.

The former Orlando Pirates and Escom United striker has been in impressive form for both Big Bullets and the Flames, helping his club to win the league title after scoring 14 goals to become a joint top goal scorer with Red Lions’ Innocent Bokosi.

The PSL side are expected to reassess the hitman, with a strong possibility of signing him this month.

If Msowoya signs for Wits, it will be his second return to South Africa following unsuccesfull campaign with Pirates which saw him scoring less than four goals in the entire season no wonder he got released from his contract.

Another Malawian player trying his lucky in South Africa is Blue Eagles’s John Banda who has started a week long trial with Jomo Cosmos with the view of signing for the club before the clossure of the current transfer window.
