Super League of Malawi (Sulom) vice president, Daud Suleman, has expressed sadness at seeing Dedza Young Soccer relegated from the Super League but says he sees them playing in the league again soon.
Dedza became the third and last team to be relegated in the 2015 season after a 2-1 loss to Epac at Civo Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
However, in a Facebook post, Suleman says he believes that the Dedza based outfit will bounce back into the top flight.
“Dedza Young Soccer, I know it’s a heavy heart but I believe that you are coming back,” said Suleman in the post.
Suleman was also full of praise for Dedza especially for their type of soccer and for the massive support the team’s fans give them at Dedza Stadium.
“Your home games were always a spectacle not to mention the intense ownership that locals had on your football brand,” said Suleman.
Dedza failed to get the single point they needed in their last encounter against Epac to avoid being sent back to Chipiku Central Region Football League.
