Refusing

Ecclesiastes 9:16. “Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man’ wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.”

Some people associate poverty with godliness and think that the rich will not make it to heaven. However this is just the devil’s way of keeping them in poverty by allowing them to misinterpret the Word. God shows us that the wisdom of a poor man is despised. Noone accepts what a poor man says. As a child of God don’t accept poverty, you have power to drive it out of your life.

The patriarchs such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Solomon, David and so on made it to heaven but were equivalent of billionaires or even more in our days. So never be deceived by associating poverty with godliness. Actually a poor man can easily sin, through envy, lying, theft and use of various evil ways to get rich.

Refusing
Say no to poverty.

There are several Biblical means to get out of poverty and will introduce just three of them.

The first means is through giving. This is giving with knowledge.Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you: A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure you use will be the measure you receive.”

The second one is through being diligent. The word Diligent is a Hebrew word “Mahiyr”meaning Quick, Hard working and Skilled. Prov 10:4 “The one who is lazy becomes poor, but the one who works diligently becomes wealthy. ” Work hard at what you do. Deliver within the agreed deadlines and work on your talents to become skills. Through training and practice and can change talents to skills. Pro 22:29 “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

Third one is through words we speak. Words you speak can determine your destination(James3:2-5). Speak right Words. Know that Christ became poor that you should be rich. Its your inheritance hence refuse poverty with your mouth.2 Corinthians 8:9.” For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.”
Confess with me: I refuse poverty and every effect of the same. I operate in abundance because that is my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I am a seed of Abraham and all the blessings of Abraham belong to me. In Jesus Name. Amen.
